Exercise: Lateral Step-Up + Reverse Lunge

- Stand to side of knee-high box holding dumbbells, wearing weighted vest or bearing some other load
- Step laterally onto box with right leg, raising left knee waist-high. Briefly balance on right foot
- Step off box onto left foot, then right
- Take large lunge backward with right leg
- Lower body until right knee almost touches floor, keeping weight back and left knee over left ankle
- Push up with right foot and return to start position
- Repeat for specified reps
- Perform with opposite leg
