Exercise: Lateral Broad Jumps

  • Start in upright position with feet slightly wider than hip width
  • Extend arms back and get into proper squatting technique with hips back, heels on ground, chest and head up and knees behind toes
  • Explode up and laterally right by pushing through floor and using arms as momentum
  • Land softly on ground in proper squat position; repeat for specified reps
  • Switch to jumping laterally left; repeat for specified reps

Coaching Points: Maintain proper squat technique // Focus on balance and landing soft // Do not take break between reps
