- Assume proper split squat stance with back flat, chest up, hips back, feet forward, knees behind toes and back heel off ground
- Squat below parallel position and bring arms back into loaded position
- Explode off ground, switching split-squat stance in midair
- Land softly on ground in split-squat; quickly explode again into air to complete one rep
- Continue alternating legs in air for specified reps
