A college coach has invited you to walk on. It might sound like a great option, since you weren’t recruited. However, keep in mind that you’ll be busting your butt for no scholarship dough or free books and with only a slim chance of seeing the field, at least for a few years. So before accepting, ask yourself: “Do I believe I have what it takes to play at this program?” Having confidence in your game is crucial, because if you don’t, you’ll end up walking right back off.
