Permanent Me
After the Room Clears [Stolen Transmission]
Formerly known as Yes, Virginia, Permanent Me renamed themselves after pulling the two words from a hat. But when it comes to putting down the beats, these four Long Islanders don’t rely on a lucky draw. Instead, they do it like the pros, working with top dogs in the business, like Panic! At The Disco producer Matt Squire and Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley. When their debut album, After the Room Clears, drops on Jan. 30, you can expect solid, punk spins that will amp your mind for any competitive action.
Top tracks: “Blackjaw,” “Friday Night” and “20 Years.”
