Need help navigating through the college admissions process? Visit your high school guidance counselor. S/he can help you choose colleges based on your personal criteria [e.g., major, location, cost] and even narrow down the field to make your final selection easier. Counselors are also good for advice on completing applications and writing essays, and for answering questions about entrance exams and admission requirements. The best perk? Their services are free!
