Begin your FAFSA application

Attention seniors: Picking a school is only half the battle. Then you have to figure out how to pay for it. Get a head start by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which determines how much financial aid you’re eligible to receive from various sources, including your state and school. Applying early gives colleges more time to process and change info where necessary. State and school deadlines differ from the federal deadline, but the earliest ones start rolling in about two weeks from now. You can visit www.studentaid.ed.gov to get more info, submit your application online or print out a hard copy to send via snail mail.
