The Virtues: Resilience, Humor
The Feature: Starring as the first-ever male pair skating team, Jon Heder and Will Ferrell helped Blades of Glory rake in $115 million at the box office. Now the flick is on disk.
The Features: Buy it on HD DVD and get extra bonus features not available on the standard DVD, including an interview with Scott Hamilton and a behind-the-scenes look at the “sexy” costumes featured in the film. Deleted scenes and “Hector: Portrait of a Psychofan” make the HD exclusives worth the extra dollars.

The Virtues: Courage, Determination
The Feature: One of the most addicting new shows of 2006 will soon be one of the most addicting DVDs of 2007. Ordinary people discover they have extraordinary powers in this action-packed sci-fi adventure. Pop in the first disk and you won’t stop watching until the cheerleader is saved.
The Features: In addition to all 23 original episodes, the DVD features an unaired pilot with audio commentary; mini-features about the making of the series, stunts and special effects; and 50 deleted and extended scenes.

The Virtues: Loyalty, Steadfastness
The Feature: Jack Lengyel [Matthew McConaughey] rebuilds an entire college football program after 75 of its players and coaches were killed in a 1970 plane crash.
The Features: Alongside the moving film, the DVD, HD and Blu-Ray versions all carry the inspiring documentary, Legendary Coaches: How Coaches Overcome Adversity, in the tradition of Jack Lengyel and the Marshall Thundering Herd.
