Trevor Hall The Elephant’s Door [Geffen Records]
Instead of following in the footsteps of his tennis pro parents, 20-year-old Hall has an off-court game plan that involves hitting notes. After touring with the likes of Ziggy Marley, Ben Harper and Jason Mraz, Hall is dropping a killer debut album that serves up pop-rock and reggae sounds reminiscent of Dave Matthews, post-DMB. The spins are dynamic; and while they won’t get you revved for game time, they’re excellent afterward, like during cool downs or the ride home.

“Other Ways”
The moderate tempo and mellow lyrics makes this song ideal during jogs and stretches.
