Jeff Howser, Duke University's speed and conditioning coordinator, dropped his soccer teams' Pro Agility times by an average of .3 seconds in seven weeks. How? He had them perform the Lunge Balance and Squat Balance-two exercises that require no equipment-twice a week on agility training days.
