A great source of protein, besides meat and fish, is quinoa. Try adding some to your daily menu. This small, round grain packs more protein than most other grains. Just one cup offers eight grams, about the same as you get from an ounce of turkey bacon. Boil it like rice; then serve it as a side dish, throw it into a bowl of soup or just eat it like a hot breakfast cereal, with some milk and raisins.
