If you’re going to ride with a coach during an official visit, abide by this NCAA regulation.

During an official visit, can a college coach accompany me to or from campus?

Yes, but only in a car, which can be a coaching staff member’s. You’re allotted 48 hours per official visit, and your trip officially begins when you get in a car with coach to travel to campus. Once your 48-hour period is over, contact with the coach must be terminated immediately.
