With a regular season, a conference tournament, a regional round and finally a super regional elimination [exhausting to write, let alone play], the college baseball season is a long, arduous campaign, usually full of surprises. At the end of the journey, the survivors arrive at college baseball’s Mecca—famed Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Neb.—site of the College World Series.

The eight teams in the World Series bracket find their way to America’s Heartland thanks in large part to stud pitching and timely hitting by some of the best amateur players in the country. But, don’t forget the training that prepared them and kept them primed for battle. Here, we open up the STACK archives to provide training and recruiting articles and videos from six of the final eight squads vying for NCAA diamond supremacy (sorry, Southern Miss and Arkansas, we promise to get around to you soon).
