Improve your game without even taking a swing. Research conducted by Dr. Andrea Fradkin, cocoordinator of the Pinehurst University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Golf Fitness Lab, shows that golfers who warm up before the start of a round are nine times less likely to be injured during a match. The study concluded that those who performed a dynamic warm-up and took a few practice swings increased clubhead speed and dropped their handicaps by an average of seven strokes over a seven-week period, compared to those who went straight to the tee box.
