A thousand bucks won’t make you rich, but it can help fund your college education. Read on to learn how to strengthen your financial condition for college.
What: The NSCA is offering two $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors who want to earn a degree in the strength and conditioning field.
Eligibility: The scholarships are available to seniors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher who plan to enroll in college in the fall immediately after high school graduation and who intend to major in a strength and conditioning related field.
Apply: You’ll need to submit a cover letter, an official transcript, two letters of recommendation and a 500 word [or less] essay detailing your future ambitions in the strength and conditioning field. Also needed: a copy of your college letter of acceptance and a resumé of your extracurricular activities and community service involvement. To complete the app, go to nsca-lift.org.
